Usha Breco Limited (UBL), a pioneer in the field of transportation of humans and material through the ropeways, was established in the year 1969 as a joint venture between Usha Martin Industries Limited, India, now the second largest wire rope manufacturers in the world and British Ropeway Engineering Co. Ltd. (BRECO), U.K.
With a high-level of expertise in the field of Industrial Ropeways, Cableways and Passenger Ropeways and by adopting up-to-date Design Engineering and Modern Techniques in operation and maintenance, UBL has emerged as a leader in the field of Aerial Ropeways in India. Since its inception, the company has designed and constructed 27 passenger and industrial ropeways in India and abroad.
